SCORING: A copy of the score sheet for each level is available below. See links at the bottom of the page.
How it works: Judges will put "tick marks" on the number, or range of numbers, they feel is appropriate for each category. They will then estimate an average score based on where the tick marks lie for each category. That average will be your Overall Score. All elements of the routine are taken into consideration for this score. Judges will typically watch every routine in the division, taking careful notes, before giving out final scores to ensure they are placed in the proper order. Judges meet as a group after each shift to enter in scores to the judging staff.
- BEGINNING SCORE SHEET 75 (= 100%)
- INTERMEDIATE SCORE SHEET 85 (= 100%)
- ADVANCED SCORE SHEET 100 (= 100%)
CLICK HERE to see a sample of a score sheet
If any discrepencies occur, routines may be watched by video review and discussed to ensure proper placement. Judges may or may not change scores in your favor at this time. Only the judges are authorized to make changes to your score based on what they see during video review. We take pride in making sure you are judged fairly and accurately. All scores are final and at the sole discretion of our judges.
SCORING ERROR: If you feel you were inaccurately scored, please contact me directly at a later date (Not during the competition) and I will personally review the video. As a rule, I stand behind my judges, but if I can see there was a scoring error (such as a typo when entering scores etc) I will make that correction when posting results and make sure you get the proper trophy!
SPECIAL AWARDS
There will be 3 awards ceremonies:
- Friday Night following Soloists, Duo's and Trio's
- Saturday Mid-day after younger groups have performed
- Saturday Night after the Battle of the Queens Competition for the remainder of the groups
**Please CHEER and clap for ALL participants (even if they are not from your studio)! Some have more fan support than others and we want everyone to feel equally supported!
DANCE JAM
Before each awards ceremony, we host a "Dance Jam"! This is for all participants, coaches and instructors! The DJ will turn on some fun music and you will "Boogie your hearts out!" Judges will be watching with ribbons to award those dancers that Stand OUT and are having a good time!
**Adrenaline Productions stands behind the decisions of our judges for accuracy in routine placement. If you feel you have been inaccurately scored, please contact me directly at a later date (not during the competition) and I will personally review the video. If I feel there was a scoring error (such as a typo when entering in scores etc), I will make that correction before posting the results and make sure you receive the proper trophy!
Please clap and cheer for ALL participants after they perform AND during the Awards Ceremonies! Some have more fan support than others and we do not want any of our participants to feel left out! Any "booing" will result in removal from the facility!

**Sportsmanship begins with you, the director, and is counted long before the competition begins! Please, be courteous to our staff when contacting us for concerns, questions, changes, upgrades etc. We will do our best to see that your needs are met, but please take into consideration that not all requests can be accomodated.
CHANGING ROOM: Locker rooms will NOT be available during this event. We will designate either the Dance Room or the Wrestling Room for your studio to change in. You will share that space with several other teams, so please do not linger there or leave belongings there. Change and leave quickly to allow others time as well. You may also use the womens restroom located outside the gym doors on the East side of the building. Please DO NOT do hair & makeup in this room. Only a limited number may be allowed in the room at one time for fire safety code compliance. Please clean up after yourself! (We will designate an area in one of the practice gyms for you to store your belongings, do hair & makeup etc). If changing does not require you to get fully undressed, you may use the practice area as welll. Keep in mind that the practice areas are not a secure or private area and anyone can enter.
**For the safety and comfort of our female competitors, changing areas will be for girls and women only (since they are the majority). Males, please use public male restrooms instead. Directors, please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this rule. If there is a significant amount of male competitors at this event, once the final count is in, we will designate a specific place for you!
BELONGINGS: You will be designated a section of the practice area for you to leave your belongings in and to do hair and makeup (please do not do hair & makeup in the restrooms or changing areas as to keep those areas uncrowded). You are responsible for cleanup of this area after the event is over. Please make sure a responsible adult is in charge of keeping your area (and the changing rooms) clean throughout the event. A staff member will be checking the areas regularly, if damage is done anywhere in the facility by anyone in your group, you may be financially responsible.
A tentative competition Line-up will be posted here 3 weeks before the event! It is YOUR responsibility to notify me if you have any conflicts (not enough changing time between routines etc). A revised line-up will be posted 2 weeks before the line-up and a FINAL line-up will be posted 1 week before the line-up after which changes will only be made in extenuating circumstances!
Please check the line-up again 3 days before to ensure you have the correct times!
NO changes will be made to accomodate travel! Please do not make ANY other plans that might conflict with your being at the competition! The competition may go late into the night both Friday and Saturday!
Concessions will be available at the event! We have been asked to limit the amount of food that is brought into the gym. Obviously, this is an impossible task. You can help by simply making sure you, your staff, your participants and their families clean up after themselves and keep the facility clean! If there is a spill, please notify us promptly so that we may have a custodian clean it up. (This will ensure safety as well).
We will be selling T-shirts and other apparel and accessories at the event! We will post pictures here beforehand!
**All participants will receive $5.00 toward their purchase of $25.00 or more at the t-shirt table! (Not valid toward any other booth or concessions).
